7. With whom do we share your information?

a) Sharing personal data with regulatory authorities

So that you can travel, it may be mandatory (as required by government authorities at the point(s) of departure and/or destination) to disclose and process your personal data for immigration, border control, security and anti-terrorism purposes, or any other purposes which they determine appropriate.

Some countries will only permit travel if you provide your advance passenger data (for example Caricom API Data and US Secure Flight Data). These requirements may differ depending on your destination and you are advised to check. Even if not mandatory, we may assist where appropriate.

We may share the minimum personal data necessary with other public authorities if the law says we must, or we are legally allowed to do so.

b) Sharing personal data with suppliers and retail partners

In order to provide products or services requested by you we may share personal data with suppliers of your travel arrangements, including airlines, hotels and transport companies.

We also work with carefully selected suppliers that carry out certain functions on our behalf. For example, companies that help us with IT services, storing and combining data, marketing, advertising campaign, market research, processing payments and delivering products and services.

We may need to share personal data to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; this includes providing personal data to others for the purposes of preventing fraud and reducing credit risk. When we share personal data with other organizations we require them to keep it safe, and they must not use your personal data for their own marketing purposes.

We only share the minimum personal data that enable our suppliers and retail partners to provide their services to you and us.

c) Sharing personal data with credit reference and fraud prevention agencies

When you order or buy products or services from us we may share your personal data with credit reference and fraud prevention agencies. That means looking into any records we hold about you and your records with credit reference agencies (CRAs) or fraud prevention agencies (FPAs). When they get a search from us, a 'footprint' goes on your file which other organizations might see.

We may also do checks to confirm your identity. That is to help protect you from identity theft and other types of fraud, and to prevent and detect crime or money laundering. Once in a while we might run more checks with CRAs and FPAs to keep your information and your account up to date. If false or inaccurate information is provided and identified as fraud, the details will be passed to FPAs. This information may also be shared with law enforcement agencies.

If you tell us you have got a spouse or financial associate, we will link your records together – so you must make sure you have their agreement to disclose information about them. CRAs also link your records together and these links will stay on your and their files – unless you or your partner successfully files for a disassociation with the CRAs to break that link.

We may send these agencies details such as your name, address, accounts and bills, including how you manage them. That includes telling them about your account balances, what you pay us and when you miss a payment. If you don't pay your bills on time CRAs will record that. Agencies may tell others doing similar checks, including organizations trying to trace you or recover money you owe them.

Each credit reference and fraud prevention agencies will have its own criteria for how to calculate a credit score. For more information on credit reference and fraud prevention agencies e.g. Callcredit, Equifax and Experian, and the way they may use your personal data, please refer to the Credit Reference Agency Information Notice (CRAIN). The CRAIN describes how the main credit reference agencies use and share personal data they receive about you and/or your business that is part of or derived from or used in credit activity.

8. How do we protect your personal data?

We know how important it is to protect and manage your personal data. We take appropriate security measures to help protect personal data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure; however please note that no system is ever completely secure. The Privacy Center puts you in control of how Go4.Global processes your personal data. It provides you with information about what happens if you adjust your settings on your Account Settings page and how to opt out of receiving certain messages from Go4.Global. If we send you electronic marketing messages based on your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, you may, at any time, respectively withdraw such consent or declare your objection (“opt-out”) at no cost. The electronic marketing messages you receive from Go4.Gobal (e.g. those sent via email) also will also include an opt-out mechanism within the message itself (e.g. an unsubscribe link in the emails we send to you).

You can find out more about the GDPR rights described above and the controls we provide to all Go4.Global users with respect to these rights in the ‘Your Rights’ section contained in the Privacy Center. 1. Introduction

Thank you for using Go4.Global and welcome to our Cookie Policy (“Policy”)!

The objective of our Policy is to provide you, as the user of Go4.Global ’s services, with clear and accessible information about the cookies that Go4.Global uses, the role they play in helping us to provide the best possible experience to you and the choices you have when it comes to your cookie settings.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that allow a website or a mobile app to collect and store a range of data on your desktop computer, laptop or mobile device. Cookies help us to provide important features and functionality on our websites and mobile apps, and we use them to improve your customer experience. With our permission, cookies may be placed on our websites and mobile apps by other organizations.

The term “cookie” actually describes a range of technologies, including:

  • pixel tags (transparent graphic images placed on a web page or in an email, which indicate that a page or email has been viewed),
  • mobile device identifiers, and
  • web storage used in desktop software or mobile devices.

We’ll use the term “cookie” throughout our Policy to cover all of these technologies, but we’ll make sure we provide you with clear details about them all so that you can make informed choices about your cookie settings.

Cookies do lots of different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving your user experience. They can also help to ensure that ads you see online are more relevant to you and your interests.

There are a few different categories of cookies, including:

a) Session and Persistent Cookies

  • Session Cookies - these are cookies which expire once you close your web browser; and
  • Persistent Cookies - these are cookies which stay on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them.

b) First and Third Party Cookies

  • First-party cookies - these are cookies set by the website that you are visiting at that time, either by us, or by a third party at our request;
  • Third-party cookies - these are cookies that are set by a party other than that of the website you are visiting. If you visit the Go4.Global website or use the Go4.Global Service and another party sets a cookie through that website this would be a third-party cookie.

3. What kind of cookies do we use and what data do we collect?

Go4.Global and our service providers use different kinds of cookies on our websites:

We collect the following information, but we are not limited to: IP-address, information about your browser, Referrer-URL.
Functional cookies Functional cookies are used to optimize your user experience. They allow websites to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. These cookies can also be used to remember changes you have made to text size, fonts and other parts of web pages that you can customize. The information these cookies collect may be anonymized and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.

For that purpose we use Google Analytics, thus we collect the following information, but we are not limited to:Identifying unique users, identifying unique sessions, throttling the request rate, storing information about user’s sessions and campaigns. As part of this process, pseudonymous user profiles for the users can be created from the processed data.

We use Google Analytics to ensure that we only display the advertisements provided as part of the advertising services provided by Google and its partners to users who have shown an interest in our website or who display certain features (e.g., interest in certain topics or products, which is determined on the basis of the websites that are visited), which we send to Google (this is known as remarketing, or Google Analytics audiences). We use remarketing audiences to ensure that our advertisements are in line with the potential interest of the user, rather than being an irritation.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization activated. This means that Google abbreviates the IP address of the user in the member states of the European Union, or in other signatory countries of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then abbreviated there.

The IP address transmitted from the user’s browser is not combined with other data by Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by configuring their browser settings appropriately; users can also prevent the recording of the data generated by the cookie and the data collected as a result of their use of the online content to Google, as well as its processing by Google.
